Site Electrical Engineer, 1984-85
Responsible for 5 design engineers, supervisors and 56 technicians. Electrical and C&I budget for the site, estimating power requirements, planning shutdowns, liaison with contractors and trade unions. Residential course in team management at PAT Management Training Centre. Course on Wiring Regulations at the IEE.

Leader of small team of engineers & physicists testing electrical instruments and expanded the work to include control systems

Assisting development & commisioning of specialist controls and laboratory testing of proprietary process equipment
